What's the best way to get to San Diego Convention Center?
Driving is about 20 minutes off-peak. On event days many guests skip downtown parking: the San Diego Trolley Green Line from Grossmont Transit Center (about 3 miles from the house) runs to the Convention Center and Gaslamp area — plan 60 to 90 minutes door to door at peak times.
Can we come back late?
Yes. Keyless entry means no key handoff, and rideshare back from downtown typically takes 20 to 35 minutes. Quiet hours start at 10 PM, so keep the driveway conversations short.
